Reserve your model of one of these iconic bridges now, supplied fully assembled and painted ready to run  - 1:43 scale O Gauge

• O Gauge - 1:43 scale, length 1450mm, 172mm high  or 4ft 9 inches long - we may produce them in Gauge 1 subject to demand
• From extensive research provided by Cliff Williams, designed and built for us by FM Models in Korea 
• Version 1 - Victoria Bridge single track, prototype is just south of Arley over the River Severn on the Severn Valley Railway
• Version 2 - Albert Edward Bridge double track, prototype is at Coalbrookdale on the old GWR Ketley Branch
• Model construction - etched brass and lost wax brass castings, delivered built and authentically painted in original GWR colours
• Supplied with shuttering to retain ballast, the supply and fit of ballast and track is left to the choice of the owner
• Price to be confirmed - with over 4000 individual components to hand assemble we will know more once the bridge is finished

We are delighted to announce that our builder F.M. Models in Korea has agreed to produce these bridges for us, which will be one of the single biggest builds they have ever produced and they are excited at the challenge set before them. The length of the bridge can allow three O Gauge RTR models to be displayed and the sheer scale of the work and materials involved in building this bridge is greater than those three locos put together.

A view of the underside showing the plates on the side, these will be supplied separately, in case a unique name is wished on the bridge to celebrate a personal milestone!

We managed this shot before York Model Show opened, with the light streaming in through the racecourse windows we felt it was worth sharing despite the background. Just as we see on the Severn Valley the colours change according to light levels. The paint is based on samples from the recognised paint producer T.R. Williamson in Ripon, who have been supplying railway paints for many many years.

The length of the bridge can allow three O Gauge RTR models to be displayed and the sheer scale of the work and materials involved in building this bridge is greater than those three locos put together.

Featuring recently on BBC4 programme "Flying Scotsman from the Footplate" which shows LNER/BR A3 No. 60103 "Flying Scotsman" traverse the award winning Severn Valley Railway in Shropshire and passing over the Victoria Bridge. Originally a Great Western Bridge but since preservation the bridge has had LMS, LNER, Southern and BR steam run over it, not to mention all the preserved diesels making it an ideal diorama for all eras and regions, or for installation into a working layout.
